RingBarn builds and runs AI receptionists for owner-run service businesses. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, and how to get it removed.
If you got an email from us
We write to local service businesses using business contact details that are publicly listed, such as a company name, business email address, phone number and website. We use them only to tell you about RingBarn.
Don't want more? Reply STOP to any email from us, or write to hello@ringbarn.com, and we'll remove you the same day. You don't need to log in or fill in a form. How opting out works.
If you visit this website
This site has no ads, no tracking pixels and no analytics cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure.
If you book a call, the booking tool collects what you type in: your name, company, website, business phone and anything else you choose to tell us. We use it to prepare for and hold the call.
If you're a RingBarn customer
To answer calls as your company, we use what you give us about your business (services, area, hours, how you quote). When your RingBarn answers a call, it records the call and keeps a transcript and the details the caller gives, such as their name, callback number and the job.
Those recordings are yours. We use them to send you call summaries and to improve your receptionist, and we never use your callers' details for anything else. We don't sell personal information.
If you stop using RingBarn, tell us whether you want your recordings and summaries sent to you or deleted, and we'll do it.
If you called a business that uses RingBarn
Your call was answered on that business's behalf, and the details you gave went to them so they can call you back. If you'd like them removed, ask the business, or write to us and we'll pass it on and help.
Who helps us run this
We use a small number of service providers to run the phone lines and voice software, send email, host this site, take bookings and take payments. They handle data only to provide those services to us.
