Terms
These terms cover using this website and the RingBarn service. Using RingBarn means you agree to them.
What RingBarn does
RingBarn is an AI receptionist. It answers the calls you forward to it, as your company, from the information you give us, takes the caller's details and emails you a summary.
Your part
- Give us accurate information about your business, and tell us when it changes.
- Set up call forwarding with your carrier. You can switch it off at any time.
- Follow the call-recording and consent rules that apply where you and your callers are. Tell us if your area needs a specific announcement at the start of calls.
- Don't use RingBarn for anything unlawful, for spam, or to mislead callers.
What it won't do
It works only from what you've told us and won't invent prices or promises. It's still software and can get things wrong, so you confirm jobs, prices and times with your customers yourself. It isn't an emergency service.
Pilot, billing and cancelling
The 30-day pilot starts the day your calls are forwarded. After that, RingBarn is month to month, billed by the minute it answers, at the price we agree before you start. To cancel, dial the code to stop forwarding and tell us.
Your data
Your call recordings and summaries are yours. How we handle them is in our Privacy page.
Liability
We work hard to answer every call well, but we can't guarantee every call will be answered or handled correctly, and we aren't responsible for jobs or income lost because of a missed or mishandled call. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the issue.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and tell customers by email before the change applies.
